St. Croix Valley Faith Formation serves all three parishes – St. Charles in Bayport, St. Mary in Stillwater, and St. Michael in Stillwater, and the staff is responsible for all the religious education classes’ womb to tomb in the three parishes.

Our Mission Statement is:

To make the name of Jesus Christ known and loved in our time by living the gospel, teaching the Profession of Faith, celebrating the sacraments, informing about moral life, and cultivating Christian prayer for the Church communities of St. Charles, St. Mary, and St. Michael.

St. Croix Valley Faith Formation Goals are:

  • To nurture and develop the faith of the parishioners of all ages, conscious of the essential role of the family.
  • To promote and celebrate the Catholic faith through prayer and the sacraments.
  • To promote living the gospel message of Jesus and witnessing our faith in our daily life through outreach to others.

SCVFF is currently in the process of being incorporated and the elementary staff from the religious education department has been combined with the junior high, Confirmation and senior high staff formerly known as SCY. The SCVFF staff is housed on two separate campuses. You will still find the elementary staff at St. Mary’s education center and the junior/senior high staff, as well as Confirmation and Youth Ministry are located in the newly renovated John and Mary building at St. Michael’s.

Making the name of Jesus Christ known and loved by our youth and their families, and nurturing and developing the faith of our parishioners, no matter what age, are important at SCVFF. As St. Croix Valley Faith Formation continues to develop programs that assist St. Croix Valley Catholics form a deeper relationship with Christ by learning and living their faith, our methods and processes will continue to make improvements. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we warmly embrace these exciting opportunities.
